Duties of Editors
Fair Play and Objectivity: Editors assess articles only on intellectual and scientific content — not authors' race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political ideology.
Confidentiality: Only the corresponding author, reviewers, prospective reviewers, and editorial advisers may receive information about
a submitted paper.Disclosure and Conflicts of Interest: Unpublished materials disclosed in a submitted manuscript must not be used in an editor's own research without the express written consent of the author.
Involvement in Investigations: Editors will take reasonably responsive measures when ethical complaints are presented concerning
a submitted manuscript or published paper.
